An indoor-outdoor piece created to embrace the spirit of endless summer. Our winged lounge chair's low-profile design brings a chic and effortless profile to patios, poolside, and indoors alike.

The piece's soft curves are paired with a sturdy-yet-lithe foundation of solid wood. An elegant melding of form & function, the upholstered back and removable seat cushion are made of outdoor dry-fast foam. The base and legs are made of solid Iroko with a frame that includes slats for drainage when used in an outdoor or poolside environment.

Shown here in our Carbon Canyon outdoor finish, our Iroko pieces are also available in our Rincon finish. 

All of our outdoor upholstered pieces come standard with an ivory outdoor Sunbrella textile (not pictured here). They are also available as C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Materials).

All of our pieces are bench-made in Los Angeles by local artisans.

All of our pieces are customizable by specifying Customers' Own Materials for a truly bespoke creation. Fade & mildew-resistant fabric is recommended for outdoor usage or in high-humidity environments.

Fabric specified should be upholstery grade with content and abrasion information available. Fabric without that information available may require backing and should be sent to us pre-backed. We do not advise using a fabric requiring backing in an outdoor or high-humidity environment. Depending upon the fabric you have specified, we may request that a CFA be sent to us in advance to confirm suitability with our maker.

Please note: Lead time begins when we have received your C.O.M. fabric and/or trim. If your fabric is back-ordered, our listed lead times will not begin until your fabric or trim has been received.


Yardage requirements will vary depending upon the scale and repeat of patterned fabrics. Please contact us with your fabric details before placing your order to confirm yardage. Kindly include the name of our collection piece, so we may best assist you.


Covered or protected storage is advised. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, which may warp or damage the frame. Wood will naturally grey, fade or patina over time; exposure to the elements will expedite this inherent trait. Please refer to our product care FAQs page for more information.


Custom sizing, alternate materials & finishes, contract-grade fabrication, or coordinating outdoor covers are available upon request for Trade orders. Please inquire for pricing. 


All vintage, custom, made-to-order, fine art, and one-of-a-kind items are final sale and ineligible for return.  



Currently, all furnishings are available for pick-up only. August Abode does not provide local delivery, white-glove delivery quotes, or related services. We recommend that packing, shipping and/or freight quotes are obtained prior to purchase, as all sales are final.


If you need assistance obtaining a quote or coordinating your delivery, we have compiled a list of shipping & delivery resources for your convenience.


Please be sure to select "Pick Up" when you check out.

Upon completion, all custom and made-to-order items are released from our Los Angeles warehouse. Most furniture pieces have a lead time of 10-22 weeks, with individual lead times provided within specifications. We will notify you when your item is complete & provide the warehouse pick-up address.

Pick-up should be coordinated using a third-party commercial delivery or courier service. The ability to pick up from a loading dock may be required. Customers, their third-party commercial delivery, or courier services must provide their own packing materials. We are unable to provide packing materials, crating, or blanket wrapping.

Our office kindly requests 2 business days' notice to have your item pulled from storage and available for your courier or delivery service.  Please note: Our warehousing facility is quite large. If you send a delivery or courier service without scheduling in advance, we will be unable to accommodate your pick-up at that time.


Once notified that your order is complete, items left at our warehouse longer than 15-days will incur a $150 storage fee per item per month. Should the need arise for us to hold your item(s) for longer than the 15-day period, all storage balances will need to be paid in full before your goods can be released.
